(sorry if this post is a little late, but not too late since its still techincally the season of giving and spending time with fam, I wanted to post more but I lost my switch for a bit, but found it just in time for Turkey Day, so here are adventures on said Turkey Day..)

My Turkey Day starts out as perfectly as possible in the most perfect outfit with the perfect shot. I definitely didn't come out my house STILL in my Halloween get-up, and awkwardly started to shuffle up against my house until making a break for it to the bouquet to get a new drip!

ANYWAYS! I went to the town (or island) square to be greeted by my cute villagers all eagerly waiting for the Turkey Day feast...

All of them seemed to be BUZZIN' about the new guest in town, Franklin, I decided to go talk to the homie, since everybody seem to really dig him....

While Franklin was no where near as SPICY as Jack, he seemed like a pretty neat bird. So the word from the bird was that Franklin needed some help finding ingredients for his ultimate feast. The first dish on the list was clam chowder and Franklin needed me to find him some manila clams.....

I use to have a bunch of clams in my house inventory, but I sold them to make more space for new stuff. So, I had to comb the beach for clams, which surprisingly took a little bit longer than I expected...

Ah the classic line

Returned my bounty to Franklin, and he seemed please with my bounty and was able to make some crowd-pleasing clam chowder....

Next the menu was the classic, well loved Pumpkin Pie, Franklin said that he need some pumpkins ('cuz DUH!), but not just ANY kind of pumpkins, specifically an Orange Pumpkin and a Green Pumpkin....

Luckily, I still had a bunch of orange pumpkins left over from Halloween, but I didnt take the time to harvest any other kind of pumpkin between then and now. So, I had to go to one of my villagers for help....

LOOK AT HIM, LOOK AT HIM! I WANT ALL YOU TO LOOK AT HIM!

I decided to visit one of my villagers, Scoot who just so happened to be cooking his own Turkey Day feast, he also just so happened to have a green pumpkin, but in exchange for the pumpkin he wanted to dab---I mean A DAB (like the fish). I was happy to help not only to get the pumpkin, but just to make him happy especially when was wearing his adorable chef outfit...I MEAN JUST LOOOK AT HIM!

Catching a dab proved not to be too hard, I caught a few sea bass and an olive flounder, which I quickly sold to the nook twins to free up some space and for some extra cash (a choice that  I would later have to take an L for ) before catching the dab, so it wasnt that much of chore...

Scoot was pretty pleased with my catch, and gave me the promised pumpkin in return, with the promised pumpkin in hand I  presented  it to Franklin who was very pleased, and with it he was able to make the famous pumpkin pie...

Tre Magnifique

The next item on the menu was Gratin, which required mussel and oyster....looks like I'm going for a swim. Now, I'll admit that I'm pretty late to the underwater game in animal crossing, so this is my first time going in deep...

Since I was new to the whole swimming under water deal, I was too busy with trying to learn how to get gud, that I FORGOT to take any pics or vids of me getting any oysters or mussles, so please just enjoy this pic of me in my wet suit drip that's partly made out of my Halloween costume.

Anyways, I report back to Franklin with the bounty from the sea, he quickly whipped up the gratin for villager's enjoyment....

The last dish was yet to be created was Fish Meunière, which sounded pretty fancy, of course for Fish Meunière, one would need to some fish, which was the next objective for my next mission. All I needed to do  was catch some Sea Bass and a Olive Flounder seemed easy enough since caught those early that day, should be no problem right..hehehe...WRONG!

Don't let this cute gif fool you, this flounder took me FOREVER to get, before then I just kept getting a BUNCH of DABS, the game was literally like "look at my dab!", and DONT EVEN GET ME START WITH THE SEA BASS, / almost thought I went insane thinking that would be an easy first catch. I got sooo frustrated at myself for selling the flounder and sea bass caught earlier like for REAL tho'!

But ANYWAYS, with the sea bass and the flounder got, I bestowed both of them to Franklin, who more than happy with the result for my tedious quest, and he was finally able to make the final dish for the great feast!

In return for my help, Frankllin gave me  a cornucopia, he also offered me an chance to continue the cooking adventure but after the fish fiasco, I was perfectly content just sitting back and watching my villagers in enjoy the feast...

So, that's pretty much all I did for Turkey Day, on my island feels like I might have missed out on a BUNCH with the whole cooking thing, but I still feel pretty content with the ending I got, how was Turkey Day on your island? Did any of you use the secrets ingredients to give the dishes a bit more spice? tell me about I would really like to know, Anyways I hope you guys have/had a Safe and Wonderful Thanksgiving/Turkey, until next time keep vibin' and thrivin'!
