We making BANK!
01/08/2021
(HAPPY NEW YEARS! Okay, Im going to TRY to use this blog more, I have basically given up on other social media (mostly Insta and Twitter) and I've realized that my time is most well spent on working on places like this blog and my tumblr blogs where I'm given creative freedom (well to an extent on tumblr but I could always make other blogs on here and now neocites WOOT WOOT), so hopefully you'll see me more on here)
Today, I opened my first bank account, it was kind of stressful because I was originally going to set it up online but it didn't go through, so I had to do it IRL. But now that I have a bank account it means I HAVE MONEY! Money that I can spend HOWEVER I WANT (which is pretty cool). Although, I thought when I was given the power of money that I would automatically start spending it on random stuff, but no...at first I wanted to go on a spree for stationery because I'm thinking about starting pen paling, but I thought for a moment and realized I already have a GOOD amount of stationery for now (maybe I'll ask more for my b-day), I like urber eats (but not in that kind of way) and currently have food at home, and I WAS going to get Half Past Fate but the winter sale LITERALLY ended YESTERDAY so I'm prolly gonna wait 'till another sale. BUT the ONE thing that I knew I wanted to spend my first 5 bucks on is upgrading my neocities! A thing I recently I learned about myself is that I REALLLY REALLLLLY REALLLY enjoy creative freedom, having the ability to customize a space to the fullest extent (or at least the majority) is something that I just really vibe with, which is why I cant really vibe with sites like Twitter or insta. Other than having the ability to change ONE color on your profile or having a pfp there's not really much customization, and yeah I CAN post my art/photos on those sites (but I could literally do that ANYWHERE), and I don't really like the crowd insta and Twitter harbor, don't get me wrong those sites are good for finding cool homies, checking up on homies you care about, and finding people from like high school n' stuff but I'm not talking about the crowd of people whom I know or the small but supportive crowd I've gathered and met on those sites its just EVERYONE ELSE, most people on those sites are vapid and very hive mind-y and I really don't wanna hop on that beat.
