Ugh..I always take forever to start these kinds of post because I usually have a LOT to talk about and I feel like I don't talk about it in the right way I want to, but whatever I can always try again later. I've been playing lots of Animal Crossing since the "thing that will not be name because I'm honestly sick of hearing about not trying to down play it's importance but I just OOF you know..." and with this entry into the series, I decided that this time I'll actually try to keep up with the game for at least a year consistently and making a nice, cute, aesthetic town/island like the pretty ones I always see on youtube and tumblr.
I've also started an Animal Crossing section in my lookback book (which I should do a flip through for) to keep up with the progress and goings on in my town, so if/once my town is fully developed I can look back to see where it all started. I'm thinking about making an Animal Crossing blog to here on typepad. While I have seen some pretty good blogs on Tumblr, I think I'll be doing a mostly weekly installment of the progress of my town, so long format blogging is probably the best for me rn. I might make a tumblr though just to keep track of the cool patterns and outfits I find on there for my villager and island.
But you know, me being me I've been overthinking and looking up alot of animal crossing blogs to see what I could add to my blog, its kind of nerve wrecking and intimidating tho. One of the blog I saw had a bunch of list of not only dream villagers (Villagers that they really wanted to live in their town) but list of fish, bugs, fossils, town buildings, heck they even had a dream list of all the items that they wanted in their home in specific colors-- and they got all the list completed! Granted this blog was pretty old and was for New Leaf (which came out about 7 years ago--wow can you believe it's been that long!!) and the last post that was really village-related was in 2016, and they started a New horizon blog this year. Also this person seem to be pretty well-verse in game diaries they have a bunch for various other games (Tomodachi Life, Final Fantasy 14, Happy Home Designer, and even Disney Magical World). I really like the idea of game "journaling" (by game journaling I'm not talking about Kotaku BS, but more like what Crystal-Dreams does, who is the person I was referencing too) I really like how she does her game journaling, but I don't wanna fully copy her and I think the way she plays Animal Crossing, she really wants to collect all the collectibles, so that's why she has all those to-do and collection list. But I think for someone like me who doesn't really mind not having all the items (at least at this point into the game) I would have little to no use for that, I think I would keep track of villagers that come in and out to the island since I REALLY like the villagers in this game, and I'll probably have a section for all the pictures I take in Photoia and my fave pic in gen and the funny edits I make.
But yeah, I see alot of people having lists for dream villagers and dream items, while I do see the point in doing that for like a goal thing, but the reason why I like animal crossing is meeting a villager that I didn't even know that was in the game, and them becoming one of my favorite villagers on the island, or having the perfect item that I didn't even know that I needed drop from the sky as if it were sent from heaven. I just like the going with the flow of it all, ya know? (BUT FOR THE FRICKIN' FLOWER CROWN RECIPE THAT'S THE ONLY THING I WANT REALLLL BAD, IF I END UP MAKING A DREAM ITEM LIST THAT'S GONNA BE THE ONLY THING ON THERE MY GOD!) but yeh, I just want to start an animal crossing blog to keep track on my island's aesthetic, I'll still have the section for it in my lookback book just to have something tangible and whatnot. So, I'm prolly gonna set up the blog tonight since the night's still young at least for me...

For a while now I wanted to make my own drag and drop dress up type games like the ones I use to play when I was younger, and I got kind of bummed because not only that I lost the sketchbook I drew the idea for my dress up game in, flash is not gonna be still an easily accessible thing by the end of the year, so that was really demovating and while I know some html, I didn't know where to upload it because DA doesn't take html5 (despite having tons of flash games, and animations ), so I gave up on that idea....UNTIL TODAY.
When I finally realize that I can just upload the file to itch.io, which host a bunch of indie games, and other interactive projects. It's a website that I always knew existed but it's one of those things where you like seen it used by other people who have skills that you don't think you could ever learn unlit you, if you're picking up what I'm putting down, this also big relief because this means I can continue making my MMD comic because those are always had to format and I already suck at comic layout, but now I can just make a visual novel with it .
Speaking of visual novel I kind of wanna make short, sweet, cute dating sims with some pretty models I download and my own models---well I want to make dating sims and friend sim (which are kind of like dating sims but it's not romantic, so more like an interactive story still..I guess). I remember back in my cringe hetalia obsessed days I used to play MMD dating sims made by this one person on DA, I used to play those on repeat, and got so sad when they stopped making them. Now, I can make my own with my own characters, it will be fun even if no one plays them but me. I just PRAY that I don't have crazy fan girls that praise and fan me and think I'll do whatever they want just because they're my fan (which with my luck prolly won't happen, thank god).
Basically, I just want to make some cute simple drag and drop dress up, and simple cute visual novel games with two routes ( continue or NOPE). I'm not trying to make Earthbound here or nothing or trying to be the next Pacthesis (OH BOI that's a name I've haven't heard of in a minute, and takes me WAAAAY BACK!)
Well, that's all I wanted to say in this post--well, I kind of wanted to talk about the whole time traveling in animal crossing, and newcomers in animal crossing not really understanding the game and what they're in for. I'll probably save it for the Animal Crossing blog, so I'mma get started on that, later days...
